DRESS CODE REMINDER

Congregation Melech Yisrael has a dress code in deference to the holiness of the synagogue space even when not praying or participating in the Torah Service. We ask that men and women wear gender appropriate attire. Hats/kippot are required for men and boys in the synagogue, even when not davening (praying) on Shabbat.

We place high priority on modest dress. Shorts are discouraged for both men and women. Dresses and skirts should be long enough to cover the knees when seated. Shirts should have sleeves and cover mid-sections. Necklines should not be low-cut. Everything private should be covered.  Please be mindful of yourself and your own family without concern about violations by others.

Dress the best you can as befitting the Presence of “the Great King Yeshua”.
